We'd like to apologize to some of our site readers for the technical difficulties we're going through. The main page isn't coming through clearly for those who use Internet Explorer (and apparently Vista), and the new "Read More" function on blogger, to put it diplomatically, sucks the shit out of a goat on the Palin farm. We encourage you to view the site using either Firefox, Safari or Google Reader instead while we hope (in vain?) that the nice guys at Blogger, who we're trying to be as patient with as possible, somehow realize that Blogger sites using their brand new read more technology — thousands of users really — should probably be readable in some way.
Update: We're removing the read now because it's totally fucked up our site on almost all browsers. Sigh...

I'm not getting any images or video in both the RSS and Atom feeds on Google Reader.
For what it's worth, your site now scrolls more smoothly than it ever has. Opera Browser, here. I don't know . . . no complaints.
I assumed that I wasn't the only one for whom the Google Reader feed has turned into nothing but the headlines for the articles, with links to your blogger page.
Is there actually a way that I could keep reading the whole articles in Reader?
Try the Atom feeds. Too many aggregator sites post/steal our content in full and you can just read them in their entirety there.
Not cool. So we adjusted our RSS. Lots of sites do it. AICN, EW, etc. etc.
What's one click to read the whole post?
"What's one click to read the whole post?"
alot sir, especially with you guys,. You have like 20 posts a day, I can't read them all! It's through the images and title do I see which of you many posts interests me. At least allow 1 image(i think that's possible).
not to get too tangential, but the new "read more" clickable at the bottom of each post is getting on my nerves a little it is new right? I enjoyed waking up every morning and scrolling down with a cup of coffee without having to click to read the stories complette but whatever.
How do you scroll with a cup of coffee? I use a keyboard.
Duh, you scroll with your dick. Two hands on the java.
FYI, I'm using Firefox, and I'm getting no sidebar items. Oh, wait, just kidding, I just scrolled all the way down, and they're at the bottom. Still not good.

That of course works on the assumption that you always have internet access .I have the time to read The Playlist at certain points in the day on my laptop but no available internet access at those times so preloaded the whole page. The "read more" function has basically made the site useless to me now .
finally. i access your website thru a mobile. and with the "read more" shit, it was becoming much more painfull.... but back to normality. good. dont worry on the epic fail. its for good only :) and keep up good job on the blog.
Every blog and movie site on the web has read more. It will eventually come back and everyone will just have to deal.
hopefully they'll develop a better way to deal with scrapers by the time you want to implement the "read more"!
scrapers?

Lack of read more is precisely the reason I read this site the most .
