Production Weekly has twittered that Amanda Seyfried & McG are attached to "The Girl Who Conned The Ivy League," based on an article in Rolling Stone magazine.
While we didn't have a chance to read it, you can read the article online right here, but in summary, it's about "how a high school dropout created the ultimate fake ID, scammed her way into Harvard and Columbia, and became the target of a nationwide manhunt."
The project is being pitched by fempire member Lorene Scafaria, so it's still too early to tell when this might get in front of cameras. No word yet on who will write, but Scafaria did pen the screenplay to "Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist" and we're guessing she'll want a hand at this one too. Seyfried is next set to film Catherine Hardwicke's "The Girl In The Red Riding Hood" while we have no idea what McG is doing and we're not sure we want to know.
