It was supposed to hit on Jimmy Kimmel at any moment now, but it's already on internet.
We expected to see very little new footage in this trailer, but there's actually quite a bit of new footage especially of Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Samuel L. Jackson (as Nick Fury) and Sam Rockwell (who looks like he's having a helluva good time). This writer wasn't quite sold on Mickey Rourke (Whiplash) the first time around, but with a bit more breathing room in this trailer, any worries have been allayed. We always thought "Iron Man" was a lot of fun, and "Iron Man 2" promises to up the ante. We like what we're seeing and this is one of the few forthcoming comic book films we're genuinely looking forward to. If it's in the same ballpark as the original, we'll be more than happy.
The film is really just right around the corner. "Iron Man 2" hits theaters on May 7.

Simon, was this image yours? Cause it's killer.
Haha yeah, thought I'd just try jazz it up a little.
I still can't decide whether I like Iron Man or The Dark Knight better. Iron Man was more fun that's for sure, but Dark Knight more epic. After seeing this trailer (which looks good and seems to remain in step with the first), I wondered, "If Iron Man 2 is already out, where's the next Batman?" Then I remembered Inception. Between those two films (and hopefully Toy Story 3) it's gonna be a good summer.
