3D Goes Stupid: 'Step Up 3D' Trailer

So has the 3D gimmick officially gone retarded? The next "Step Up" dance-off film will be "Step Off 3D".

The third film in the franchise -- yes, franchise -- is yet another inspiring, uplifting tale about urban Manhattan youth who have an uncanny knack for finding large abandoned loft and warehouse spaces where they can hold really well choreographed dance competitions.

The movie stars a bunch of people we've never heard of and we have no idea if any of them were in the other "Step Up" films because we never saw them and don't give a shit. But because we were curious, we looked up the name of the lead actress who looks like a poor man's Rashida Jones. Her name is Sharni Vinson.

You can watch the trailer below. We cant' wait til they do the electric slide in full stereoscopic photography, duuuuude. Somewhere, James Cameron is curled up into a ball weeping blue Na'vi tears.
