Astrid Berges-Frisbey Swims Into 'Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides'

Relatively unknown French actress Astrid Berges-Frisbey will be making her Hollywood debut in a big way, joining the cast of the forthcoming blockbuster "Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides."

Berges-Frisbey will play a mermaid in the film and joins an illustrious cast that includes Johnny Depp, Geoffrey Rush, Penelope Cruz, Ian McShane and Stephen Graham. The film will be directed by Rob Marshall, but thankfully will not have any musical numbers. Terry Rossio and Ted Elliot wrote the script, details of which are being kept under wraps but which will no doubt involve Jack Sparrow and lots of wacky, wet adventures in a film that will be about half an hour to forty minutes too long.

Filming on
"Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" is set to get underway in Hawaii this summer.

Can't wait to see McShane and Cruz in this. This will be by far the best pirates movie since the original. Mermaids included.
