Details On Argentinian Film 'Everyone Has A Plan' Starring Viggo Mortensen

Back in June, we reported that Viggo Mortensen had joined the feature debut of Argentinean writer-director Ana Piterbarg on a forthcoming project, "Everyone Has A Plan."

At the time, details on the script, which
has already earned critical acclaim by taking home the Julio Alejandro Screenplay Award and winning Piterbarg $50,000 at the 2008 Malaga Film Festival, were sparse. However, in a brief update about the project, Variety have revealed that the film is "a police caper about a man who takes on the identity of his deceased twin brother." It's probably a safe bet that Mortensen will play that character.

Mortensen's involvement in the film has allowed the filmmakers to secure a $3.2 million budget (the average Argentinian film works with a budget of $1.5 million) and the film will go in front of cameras next May, shooting in Tigre on the outskirts of Buenos Aires.

Mortensen is spending his summer working with David Cronenberg on his Freud/Jung tale "A Dangerous Method," and with Walles Salles in his adaptation of Jack Kerouac's "On The Road."
