Well, this is.....strange. Newcomer Assad Raja has completed a UK produced, Hindi language remake of Nicolas Winding Refn's breakthrough gangster film "Pusher" and it pretty much looks like a shot-for-shot remake except with some different skin colors and accents. And considerably less skilled acting.
Starring Raja along with Mahima Chaudhry, Pasha Bocarie, Marc Anwar, Mohammad Zadran, Mani Liaqat (yeah, we don't know those names either) the film is hitting UK cinemas on October 15th. You can watch the trailer for both the new version and Refn's original below.
No word yet on what Raja will follow up this film with, but we hear he's working on a feature adaptation based on the life of UK's most violent and notorious prisoner.....oh wait..... [Facebook]
